April 29 – May 1, 2016: After boondocking at Walmart, we were ready for some BBQ and beer. We enjoyed food at a well-known BBQ restaurant, The Salt Lick in Driftwood, and then savored sour beers on the beautiful outdoor grounds of Jester King Brewery outside of Austin. The next day we had brunch at Banger’s
April 28 – 29, 2016: After departing Sam Houston Jones State Park in Louisiana in the morning, we headed to Houston to check out Space Center Houston.
April 26 – 28, 2016: We couldn’t possibly visit Louisiana without getting out on a boat in the bayou. To that end, we booked a swamp tour with the real deal – Cajun Man out of Gibson, Louisiana down in Cajun country.
April 22 – 26, 2016: Michael flew back from New Jersey – he had a great time at the Underworld show in NYC whilst I enjoyed relaxing in the sun on Grand Isle, Louisiana – and we met up in New Orleans at our campground.
April 16 – 22, 2016: After entering Louisiana, you’d think we’d head straight for New Orleans but not just yet…
April 13, 2016: The Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House is an Usonian home in Florence, Alabama. We stopped to tour the home while traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The home was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and completed in 1940.
April 12 – 16, 2016: Departing Nashville, Tennessee we headed towards the Natchez Trace Parkway northern terminus with a lunch stop at the Loveless Cafe – a mainstay on Nashville Top 10 dining lists.

Chattanooga, Tennessee is another city I’ve been hearing a lot about and I had it, alongside Asheville, on my ‘possible places to live in the future’ list.
