Saguaro cacti are thought to be symbol of the southwest although saguaro cacti are actually only found in the Sonoran desert of Arizona, the Mexican state of Sonora, and Whipple Mountains and Imperial County areas of California.

November 22, 2014: After departing Antelope Canyon we hiked 1.5 miles round-trip to view Horseshoe Bend with the Colorado River twisting and turning through the canyons (within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area). Breathtaking views!
