Check out our actual expenses in November 2014 and see how it compared to our budget.
November 19 – 20, 2014: Neither of us had ever been to Las Vegas and neither of us had a strong desire to visit this Sin City.
November 17 – 19, 2014: Leaving Red Rock Canyon State Park we drove through great expanses of desert and nothingness and entered Death Valley National Park from the west. I don’t think either of us was quite sure what to expect but we were both completely mesmerized by the landscape.
November 13 – 17, 2014: After departing Joshua Tree National Park we made our way to the Los Angeles area to spend a few days with family and friends.
November 11 – 13, 2014: Joshua Tree National Park was definitely in the top three list for places I was looking forward to visiting on this road trip. I had really high expectations and am very happy to report that it totally lived up to the hype!
November 8 – 11, 2014: Are you surprised that we happened to roll into San Diego during San Diego Beer Week? Honestly, it wasn’t planned that way.
November 7 – 8, 2014: Have I mentioned that we’ve already visited a ton of breweries on this road trip and we’ll have to write a recap post just on the topic of breweries? Well, we spent another day checking out the local watering holes.
November 6 – 7, 2014: We had heard some really great first-hand comments about LEGOLAND but the standard cost of admission is $83 per person – there was no way we were paying that! So, after much debate, research and coupon-ing (for 40% off tickets), we finally decided to check it out for ourselves.
