February 25, 2014: Last night was our first night camping (on the grounds of a stunning vineyard!) and it was quite comfortable sleeping on the mattresses in the tent.
Today we traveled in Nyathi to our campground on the banks of the Gariep River (a.k.a. Orange River).
NOTE: This post is one of many covering our time on the fantastic GAdventures Dunes, Deltas and Falls tour.
But, the amazing discovery of the day, according to Michael, is peri-peri sauce. Now, I’m not much of a condiment fan but Michael raves about this stuff.
Apparently peri-peri is to South Africa (and many other parts of the world) what BBQ sauce is to the United States.
