November 11 – 13, 2014: Joshua Tree National Park was definitely in the top three list for places I was looking forward to visiting on this road trip. I had really high expectations and am very happy to report that it totally lived up to the hype!
November 8 – 11, 2014: Are you surprised that we happened to roll into San Diego during San Diego Beer Week? Honestly, it wasn’t planned that way.
November 7 – 8, 2014: Have I mentioned that we’ve already visited a ton of breweries on this road trip and we’ll have to write a recap post just on the topic of breweries? Well, we spent another day checking out the local watering holes.
November 6 – 7, 2014: We had heard some really great first-hand comments about LEGOLAND but the standard cost of admission is $83 per person – there was no way we were paying that! So, after much debate, research and coupon-ing (for 40% off tickets), we finally decided to check it out for ourselves.

November 3, 2014: From Paso Robles we made our way back to Coastal Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) and Hearst Castle. We had booked tickets for an afternoon tour of the Grand Rooms.
